Mr. Bernard holds a master’s degree from Université Grenoble-Alpes, obtained after a thesis at the UQAC research chair in magmatic metallogeny in 2007. With over 8 years of experience as an exploration geologist, Mr. Bernard specializes in grass roots exploration on several continents and in various political and geological contexts.

After two years as a junior geologist in Quebec, Labrador and Newfoundland, and already as a consulting geologist on many projects, Mr. Bernard became a field exploration geologist for two active gold mines in French Guiana. He joined the Laurentia Exploration adventure shortly after its creation in 2017. Since then, Jean has been responsible for several projects, in particular the least advanced grass roots exploration projects.
