M. Fayard is an engineer in geology (UniLasalle, 2016), he holds a professional master’s degree in mineral exploration (UQAC, 2016) as well as a research master’s degree (UQAC, 2020). From 2016 to 2018, he worked with the SOQUEM team on prospecting and mapping work in the Chibougamau-Chapais area on gold and base metal mineralization. He also participated in several drilling campaigns on the B26 VMS deposit in the Selbaie mining camp. At the same time, he was carrying out his research master’s degree on this deposit on the precious metal endowment theme of Archean VMS, which he completed in early 2020.
